We are looking for a skilled and creative Sous Chef – Pastry & Bakery to assist the Executive Chef or Executive Pastry Chef in managing daily pastry and bakery operations.

The candidate will be responsible for supervising pastry and bakery production, maintaining food quality and presentation standards, developing new recipes, managing inventory, controlling food costs, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

The ideal candidate should have solid technical knowledge of bakery and pastry production, leadership abilities, creativity, and the capability to manage a professional kitchen team.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Pastry & Bakery Production
Supervise daily pastry and bakery production as per the hotel's or restaurant's requirements.
Prepare and oversee the production of cakes, pastries, desserts, breads, cookies, croissants, tarts, and other bakery products.
Ensure consistency in taste, texture, quality, portion size, and presentation.
Prepare dessert menus, bakery items,



and specialty products for restaurants, buffets, banquets, and catering events.
Develop recent recipes and introduce innovative pastry and bakery products.
Ensure timely preparation and delivery of all bakery and pastry items.
Maintain proper standards for decoration, plating, garnishing, and finishing.
Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.
Supervise, train, and motivate commis chefs, pastry cooks, and bakery staff.
Assign daily duties and responsibilities to team members.
Monitor staff performance and ensure productivity.
Conduct training sessions on pastry techniques, baking methods, and hygiene standards.
Maintain discipline, teamwork, and skilled kitchen practices.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
