About JBN Modular

JBN Modular is an interior and furniture brand specialising in custom-designed modular kitchens, wardrobes, and complete residential and commercial interior solutions. We're growing, and we're looking for a motivated accounts intern to join our finance team and learn how accounts run in a quick-moving interiors business.

The Role

You'll support our accounts team with day-to-day bookkeeping and documentation, gaining hands-on experience with real business accounting under the guidance of experienced team members.

Responsibilities
Enter sales, purchase, receipt and payment entries in the accounting software (Tally or similar)
Prepare and track invoices, quotations and payment follow-ups
Help with bank reconciliation and petty cash records
Maintain vendor and customer records and ledgers
Assist with GST data preparation and filing support
Organise and file bills, vouchers and accounting documents (physical and digital)




Prepare simple reports and statements in Excel
Support the accounts team with any other tasks assigned

Requirements
Pursuing or completed B.Com, M.Com, BBA, or a CMA / CA / CS foundation or intermediate level
Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Working knowledge of MS Excel
Familiarity with Tally is an advantage
Valuable attention to detail and willingness to learn
Positive communication skills in Malayalam and English
