Job Description - Room Attendant / Housekeeping Attendant

Job Summary:

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of guest rooms, bathrooms, and corridors as per hotel standards to ensure a comfortable stay for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and make up guest rooms, bathrooms and balconies daily as per SOP.
Changing of bed linen, towels, and replenishing guest amenities (water, toiletries, tea/coffee).
Thorough cleaning of check-out rooms for next guest arrival on time.
Reporting any lost & found items, damages, or maintenance issues in rooms to supervisor immediately.
Proper handling and care of linen - No mixing of guest linen with staff / cleaning use.
Maintain housekeeping trolley, equipment and cleaning chemicals properly.




Follow key handling policy - Keys to be submitted at reception, no misuse.
Assist guests with requests like extra blanket, heater, water in a polite manner.
Maintain cleanliness in corridors, pantry and back areas.
Follow all grooming, hygiene and behaviour policies of the hotel.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience in same role preferred (Fresher can also apply).
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Honest, punctual and hardworking.
Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
Basic communication in Hindi is mandatory.

Salary: As per industry standards + Food + Accommodation

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
