Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Food Server role based at Sosoru – The Pan Asian Restaurant & Bar in Dehradun. The Food Server is responsible for greeting guests, presenting menus, explaining dishes and specials, and taking accurate food and beverage orders. Daily tasks include coordinating with the kitchen and bar, serving food and drinks promptly, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction, and handling billing and payment processes. The role involves maintaining table setup and cleanliness, adhering to hygiene and safety standards, and supporting the team during busy service periods. The Food Server is expected to provide courteous,



productive service, follow restaurant policies, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for guests and colleagues.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, with the ability to interact professionally, handle guest inquiries, and manage guest concerns calmly.
Candidates should possess Food & Beverage and Food Service skills, including basic knowledge of menu items, serving standards, and restaurant operations.
Candidates should possess clear Communication skills, including the ability to listen attentively, convey orders accurately, and coordinate effectively with kitchen and bar staff.
Candidates should possess basic Cooking or food-handling awareness sufficient to understand preparation methods, ingredients, and dietary considerations.
Additional qualifications such as prior experience in restaurant or hospitality service, familiarity with Pan Asian cuisine, and knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards are beneficial.
Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, and collaborate as part of a diverse team is required.
