Role Description The Garment Merchandiser will manage the end-to-end merchandising process, including coordinating between buyers, the design team, production, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate execution of orders. Daily responsibilities include handling inquiries, preparing costings and quotations, following up on samples, tracking production schedules, and monitoring order status to meet delivery timelines. The role involves maintaining clear documentation, updating order sheets, and resolving issues related to quality, trims, fabrics, and logistics. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat,



requiring regular interaction with internal teams and external stakeholders to support smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Candidates should possess Sales and Retail-related skills to understand market demands, buyer requirements, and commercial aspects of garment orders.
Candidates should possess Marketing skills to support product positioning, promotions, and presentation of collections to customers.
Candidates should have knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, fabrics, trims, and quality standards.
Candidates should demonstrate positive negotiation, planning, and time-management abilities, with robust attention to detail.
Relevant experience in garment merchandising or apparel manufacturing is preferred; familiarity with MS Office and basic data management is beneficial.
A diploma or degree in Textile, Fashion, Apparel Management, or a related field is advantageous.
