Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Perform end-to-end payroll testing and validation.
Validate payroll calculations, salary structures, and payroll components.
Test statutory compliance, including PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, LWF, Gratuity, and Bonus.
Validate Old and New Tax Regime calculations, tax declarations, proof verification, and TDS.
Test payroll reports such as Payslips, Salary Register, Bank Transfer Reports, and Statutory Reports.
Prepare and execute test cases, identify defects, and perform regression testing after bug fixes.
Support client onboarding and payroll configuration.
Coordinate with developers to clarify functional requirements and validate fixes.
Prepare and maintain testing and implementation documentation.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of Indian Payroll processing.




Good understanding of payroll statutory compliance.
Hands-on experience in payroll implementation and functional testing.
Solid knowledge of Old and Current Tax Regimes and TDS computation.
Hands-on experience with more than one HRMS/Payroll software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
