Role Description The Senior Tax Accountant role is a full time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The person in this role will oversee end-to-end tax compliance and tax preparation for individuals and businesses, including reviewing returns, ensuring adherence to current tax laws, and managing filing deadlines. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing financial data, preparing and reviewing financial statements, identifying tax planning opportunities, and supporting statutory audits when required. The role also involves guiding junior team members, coordinating with clients on documentation and queries,



and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and accounting standards.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Tax, Tax Compliance, and Tax Preparation, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant tax laws and regulations.
Proficiency in Accounting and preparation and review of Financial Statements, including ledgers, balance sheets, and profit and loss accounts.
Relevant qualified qualification such as CA, CMA, or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
Experience in public practice or corporate tax accounting, preferably in a similar senior or lead role.
Ability to work with accounting and tax software, strong attention to detail, and high standards of accuracy.
Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration, with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality and professional ethics.
