Role & responsibilities
Dismantle and assemble CNC machine spindles as per technical specifications and procedures.
Inspect spindle components such as bearings, shafts, housings, drawbars, spacers, seals, and motor components.
Identify mechanical and electrical faults in CNC spindle assemblies.
Perform spindle repair, rebuilding, bearing replacement, and component restoration.
Measure and verify runout, dimensions, clearances, preload, and alignment using precision measuring instruments.
Assist in spindle bearing installation, heating, mounting, and preload setting.
Perform spindle motor inspection, testing, and basic troubleshooting.
Conduct balancing and agile testing of spindle components where required.
Carry out spindle assembly according to defined quality and technical standards.




Perform spindle testing and trial runs after repair to verify performance.
Check parameters such as vibration, temperature, noise, runout, and RPM during final testing.
Maintain proper service reports, inspection records, and repair documentation.
Ensure proper handling, cleanliness, lubrication, and storage of precision spindle components.
Follow all safety, quality, and workshop procedures.
Coordinate with engineers and service teams to resolve technical issues.
Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of repaired spindles at customer sites when required.

ITI/Diploma/BE Mechanical
