We are seeking a Senior Equity Research Analyst with a solid focus on the Capital Goods and Defence sectors. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth sector expertise, solid analytical ability, and a proven record of generating actionable investment ideas for long-only portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct bottom-up research within Capital Goods and defence sectors
Build and maintain financial models and valuation frameworks
Track earnings, management commentary, and sector trends
Generate investment ideas
Prepare internal research notes and investment memos
Participate in management meetings and investor interactions
Collaborate with portfolio managers on stock selection and portfolio construction
Monitor portfolio performance and update views regularly
Desired Candidate Profile
815 years of experience in Equity Research / Investment Analysis, preferably on the buyside (PMS, AIF, MF, Family Office).
Deep understanding of the Capital Goods, Infrastructure, Defence, or Engineering sectors.
Solid financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation skills.
Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication abilities.
MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA preferred.
