Role & responsibilities
This role is responsible for sourcing Chemical category parts (Tires, Lubricants, Paint, Plastic, Rubber, Seating & Misc etc).
The role will guarantee that the sourcing is rightfully made in accordance with local/global strategy to ensure competitiveness, reliability and sustainability

Primary and Secondary duties:
Current part development as per platform milestones & PCM budget
Capacity enhancement to ensure budgeted volumes & no line loss
CPM management to ensure PPR to PO targets .
Productivity improvement as per annual budget through LTA-YOY, Low cost sourcing, SOB optimization, Localization, VA/VE, etc
Commercial settlement, Budgeting, Make/Buy, Inflation/Deflation, as per defined DOA
Manage RFQ process, present Pre-RFQ / Recommendation in global sourcing table according to defined DoA to establish business contracts.
Engage key stake holders, both global & domestic, in developing a team-oriented strategic sourcing plan for commodity
Maintain and improve the relationship with key Suppliers.
To ensure proper co-ordination with Internal commodity team & Sanchay CFT.





Leadership/Team Management Responsibility:

Education/Qualifications: Diploma + B.E(Distance)/BE/B.Tech(Regular)- Mechanical+ MBA (added advantage)

Essential experience and skills:
10+ years of experience in Automotive/ Industrial industry/Tractor/Commercial Equipment /Construction Equipment
Held positions in direct purchasing/ sourcing in a matrix workplace
The candidate should have knowledge of various manufacturing processes.
Experienced in sourcing, quality, costing, stakeholder management (including global businesses), team management, integrated supply chain, etc.
Understanding of supplier base, process knowledge, zero base costing/cost analysis & basic financial knowledge
Demonstrated strategic thinking, change management and negotiation skills along with global sourcing experience
System knowledge of ERP like SAP / LN etc. & relevant purchasing systems

Having experience of handling BCC package to support global plants
