Job Summary

The Duty Medical Officer (DMO) is responsible for providing primary medical care, patient assessment, emergency support, and clinical coordination within the hospital. The role involves evaluating patients, initiating appropriate medical management, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and ensuring quality patient care in coordination with consultants and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities
Provide immediate medical care and clinical assessment to patients, including emergency cases.
Conduct patient examinations, establish preliminary diagnoses, and initiate treatment.
Coordinate with consultants and specialists for effective patient management.
Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records.
Provide emergency medical support and stabilization measures as required.
Coordinate with nursing and allied healthcare staff.




Communicate with patients and attendants regarding treatment plans and follow-ups.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and clinical protocols.

Requirements
MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
Valid NMC / State Medical Council registration.
Robust clinical knowledge and patient management skills.
Ability to assess and manage emergency situations.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid documentation and record-keeping practices.
