Roles and responsibilities
Carry out stage-wise inspection of pressure vessels and fabricated components.
Inspect raw materials, fit-up, welding, dimensions and final fabrication as per drawings and specifications.
Review and verify WPS/PQR, welder qualification and welding parameters.
Coordinate and monitor NDT activities such as UT, RT, DP and MPI.
Ensure compliance with applicable ASME / IBR / customer specifications and quality requirements.
Check inspection reports, material certificates, welding records and other quality documentation.
Coordinate with Production, Welding, NDT and Quality teams for timely resolution of inspection issues.
Identify quality deviations and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.




Conduct final inspection and ensure readiness for customer / third-party inspection.
Maintain inspection records and prepare relevant quality documentation.

Desired candidate profile
2 - 9 years in QA/QC of static equipment (heat exchangers, pressure vessels).
Robust knowledge of ASME Sec VIII Div 1, Sec IX, Sec V and TEMA.
Experience in ITP/MQAP preparation, WPS/PQR review and documentation.
Valuable understanding of NDT methods and acceptance criteria (hands-on is a plus).
Exposure to ISO 9001 systems and audits.
