Role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Equipment Engineer to support engineering and design activities for Thermal Power Plants, Combined Cycle Power Plants, and Oil & Gas projects.

The role involves electrical equipment engineering, electrical layout design, technical bid analysis, vendor coordination, and detailed engineering using industry-standard tools and codes

Responsibilities: :
Prepare specifications, datasheets, and technical documents for electrical equipment.
Perform equipment sizing calculations and technical bid evaluations.
Review vendor drawings and ensure compliance with project requirements.
Support detailed engineering for:
Generators
Power Transformers
MV/LV Switchgear
DC & UPS Systems
Cables & Bus Ducts
DG Sets
Motors
Substation Equipment
Metering & Protection Systems
CT/PT Systems
Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
Load Lists

Electrical Layout Engineering




Develop and review electrical layouts and installation details.
Design cable tray routing, earthing systems, lighting systems, and lightning protection systems.
Prepare:
Cable Schedules
Interconnection Schedules
IO Lists
BOM/MTO
Develop substation, switchyard, transformer yard, and control room layouts.
Support hazardous area classification studies

Preferred candidate profile
Proficiency in ETAP, DIALux, and AutoCAD.
Experience in power evacuation systems, GCB, IPB, SFC, and HV equipment.
Exposure to EPC projects in the Power, Energy, or Oil & Gas sectors.
Robust coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working on large-scale greenfield or brownfield projects
