Role & responsibilities :

IPDRG :
Review inpatient medical records and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and DRG codes.
Analyze diagnoses, procedures, complications, and comorbidities.
Ensure coding accuracy for reimbursement and compliance.
Maintain productivity and quality standards.
Query physicians for missing or unclear documentation.

Surgery :
Review operative notes and surgical documentation.
Assign accurate CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes for surgical procedures.
Verify coding modifiers and ensure correct billing.
Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and payer requirements.
Communicate with providers regarding documentation clarification.

Preferred candidate profile :
Certified coder with relevant IPDRG or Surgery coding experience.
Solid knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and medical terminology.
Excellent accuracy, quality scores, and productivity.
Valuable understanding of coding compliance and documentation requirements.
Ability to work independently and meet client SLAs.
Graduation is mandatory.
AAPC & AHIMA Cerification is Mandatory.
