Experience 10+ years
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, taxes and GST.
Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
Prepare, review, and analyse financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
Manage general ledger accounting functions
Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end
Collaborate with management on development and execution of funding strategies
Examine financial and legal documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles
Develop or recommend solutions for problems or situations
Analyses revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets.
Assists management to make financial decisions.




Maintains an accurate filing and record keeping system for all financial statements and company documents.
Participates in the execution of changes to procedures, policies, and systems to facilitate expansion, compliance, and scaling of the business.

Requirements and skills
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. CA / ICWA will be preferred.
10+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases Knowledge.
Excellent verbal and written communication
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with other financial systems.
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
E Com finance working would be an advantage.
