Role & responsibilities
Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of injection moulding machines.
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems of injection moulding machines.
Identify and resolve machine breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
Maintain hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, heaters, thermocouples, and control systems.
Handle maintenance of clamping units, injection units, screw and barrel assemblies.
Monitor and maintain hydraulic pressure, temperature controllers, cooling systems, and machine operating parameters.
Perform regular inspection and servicing of injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment.
Troubleshoot and maintain mould temperature controllers, chillers, cooling towers, compressors, and material dryers.
Maintain machine maintenance records, breakdown reports, and preventive maintenance checklists.
Analyze recurring machine failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.




Ensure spare parts availability and maintain maintenance inventory.
Implement TPM, 5S, and continuous improvement activities.
Ensure compliance with machine safety standards and maintenance procedures.

Preferred candidate profile
Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in EEE.
5 to 8 years of experience in maintenance of plastic injection moulding machines.
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
Positive knowledge of injection moulding machine operations and maintenance procedures.
Experience with preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and machine servicing.
Knowledge of PLC-controlled injection moulding machines will be an added advantage.
Experience in maintaining auxiliary equipment such as chillers, compressors, dryers, and mould temperature controllers.
Ability to identify machine faults and minimize production downtime.
Positive troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
