Job Summary

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for analyzing market trends, customer behavior, competitor pricing, and internal cost data to recommend profitable pricing strategies. This role supports cross-functional teams by developing pricing models, monitoring pricing performance, and helping the business remain competitive while protecting margins. Pricing analysts commonly work with sales, finance, marketing, and operations teams and use data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling to support pricing decisions

Key Responsibilities
Analyze market, customer, and competitor pricing data to identify pricing opportunities.
Develop, maintain, and improve pricing models and pricing analysis tools.
Review pricing requests, pricing changes, and margin impacts to support business decisions.
Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations on pricing performance and trends.
Work with sales, finance, marketing, and product teams to align pricing strategies.
Monitor key performance indicators such as margin, revenue, volume, and win rate.
Research industry trends, promotions, and competitor activity to inform recommendations.
Support the implementation of recent pricing strategies, rules, and processes.




Maintain accurate pricing records and ensure consistency across systems.
Provide recommendations that balance profitability, competitiveness, and customer needs.

Qualifications
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience in pricing, finance, analytics, or a related role preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with large data sets and financial or pricing models.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office; advanced spreadsheet skills are a plus
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with SQL, reporting tools, or data visualization tools is a plus
Preferred Skills
Experience in pricing strategy, revenue management, or commercial analytics.
Robust attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Comfortable presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis methods.
