Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank and vendor accounts. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, processing payments, monitoring accounts receivable and payable, and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. The role will also involve preparing financial reports, supporting audits, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations, and coordinating with internal departments to provide accurate financial data.



This is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai, requiring close collaboration with the finance team and other operational teams to support effective financial decision-making.

Qualifications
Strong skills in general accounting, including journal entries, ledger management, and bank reconciliations.
Ability to prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and cost analyses.
Knowledge of taxation, regulatory compliance, and audit support processes.
Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; skilled certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) are an advantage.
Prior experience in manufacturing, textiles, or apparel industry is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
