Job DescriptionSummary TheGas Turbine Inquiry to Remittance (ITR) Engineer within Gas Powerbusiness is an Engineering position which leads many aspects oftechnical support across the spectrum of ITO and OTR to helpcommercialize and flawlessly execute customer solutions Thecandidate will work closely with cross functional Engineeringteams, Commercial and PMO to achieve critical business and projecttargetsJobDescription RolesandResponsibilities Responsiblefor defining the best Gas Turbine upgrade solutions, auxiliaries,and control systems to fulfill customer technical needs during theITO phase of a transaction on-time to the customer proposal needdates Own and manage project and technicalcoordination for conversions, modifications & upgrades(CM&U;), on in-service Gas Turbine Power Trains and their BOPMechanical/Electrical systems. Responsible toprovide wing to wing technical support for proposals and projectsfrom inquiry to remittance (ITR). Responsiblefor driving cost of quality reductions resulting from thefulfillment of CM&U; opportunities Maintainan active role in developing and improving processes and analyticaltools Effectively communicate project solutionsto internal and external GEcustomers. Represent the organization in userconferences, customer clarification meetings, and other industrycommunications Possess a strongunderstanding of relevant markets and customer economic value thataid winning bid strategies. Possess a strongworking knowledge of competition and the factors thatdifferentiates GE in the market. Demonstrateautonomy to make decisions within a defined framework and leadother Individual Contributors Resolve issues insituations that require valuable technical knowledge and judgmentwithin established procedures Workcollaboratively with partnering teams,

Lead the global initiatives startingfrom concept phase and provide guidance to develop, implement,monitor and enhance theKPIs. RequiredQualifications Bachelor'sdegree in engineering from an accredited university orcollege. 8+ years experience in engineering orfield experience on gas turbines (stong GT experienceexpected) Willingness to travel domesticallyand internationally, asneeded DesiredCharacteristics: Self-starterwith energy and positive attitude and legacy of delivering oncommitments in a fast-paced dynamicsenvironment Continuous improvement “mindset”with an ability to identify, influence, and implement better waysto do an activity or process Field experienceon GE Heavy Duty Gas Turbines. Systems thinker- Able to understand, adapt and anticipate the relationships ofmajor equipment inside a combined cycle powerplant.
