Role Description The Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and the delivery of preventive and restorative procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing fillings, extractions, root canal treatments, crowns and bridges, and basic cosmetic procedures as needed, while maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring adherence to infection control and safety protocols. The role involves educating patients on oral hygiene, discussing treatment options and costs, and working closely with dental assistants and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow. The Dentist is expected to participate in case reviews, support continuous quality improvement, and maintain a respectful, inclusive approach to patient care. This is a full-time,



on-site role based at Cosdento Clinic in Thane.

Qualifications

- Recognized Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree; MDS in a dental specialty is an advantage.
- Valid dental license/registration as required by local regulatory authorities.
- Experience in general dentistry, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of preventive and restorative care.
- Proficiency in common clinical procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, crowns and bridges, and basic cosmetic dentistry.
- Strong knowledge of infection control standards, clinical safety protocols, and use of dental instruments and equipment.
- Effective communication skills for explaining treatment plans, educating patients, and collaborating with the clinical team.
- Ability to maintain accurate, detailed patient records and use dental practice management or electronic health record systems.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and staying current with advances in dental techniques and materials.
- Demonstrated professionalism, empathy, and a patient-first mindset in a diverse, inclusive clinical environment.
- Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting is preferred but motivated early-career professionals are also encouraged to apply.
