Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Location: CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai (site and workshop visits as required)
Job Type: Full-time
We are looking for a Project Engineer who can understand mechanical drawings of our skids and equipment, handle procurement of the required items, and follow up with vendors and fabrication workshops until the job is completed.
Read and understand mechanical drawings such as GA drawings, P&IDs;, piping layouts, isometrics and fabrication drawings.
- Check drawings and datasheets received from vendors and workshops.
- Maintain drawing records and revisions.
Project Work
- Track project schedule and cost for each job.
- Visit fabrication workshops to check progress and quality of work.
- Coordinate inspections, hydro test, NDT and FAT.
- Support installation and commissioning at port and terminal sites.
- Follow safety (HSE) rules at workshops and sites.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D. Knowledge of 3D will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel for BOMs, cost sheets and trackers.
- Positive communication in English, both spoken and written.
