Senior FPGA Emulation Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior FPGA Emulation Engineer to drive the development, integration, and evolution of FPGA-based emulation and prototyping platforms for complex ASIC/SoC designs. This role focuses on accelerating pre-silicon hardware validation and software readiness through robust, scalable, and high-performance emulation environments. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with RTL, verification, firmware, and system validation teams, leading system integration, hardware/software co-validation, and system-level debugging. Convert ASIC/SoC RTL designs into robust, FPGA-emulation-ready implementations.
Drive improvements in emulation performance, compile time, runtime efficiency, capacity, and usability.
Enable hardware/software co-verification and earlier software development and bring-up.
Drive execution and debug of functional, performance, integration,



and timing-related issues.
Develop and champion automation using Python, Tcl, Perl, or Shell.
Establish technical documentation, reusable methodologies, and engineering best practices.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
Electronics Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Computer Engineering
Computer Science

Solid understanding of digital design fundamentals and RTL development.
Experience with FPGA toolchains such as:
Experience with simulation and verification tools:
Strong understanding of SoC architecture and bus protocols:
Experience with Linux/Unix development environments.

Emulation Platform Experience
Experience With One Or More
Experience with full-chip FPGA prototyping.
Knowledge of hardware/software co-simulation.
Experience in firmware bring-up and embedded systems.
Experience with high-performance networking or storage protocols.
Experience with CI/CD, automation frameworks, and regression infrastructure.
Experience Requirements
Senior FPGA Emulation Engineer

- 8+ years of experience in FPGA prototyping, hardware emulation, ASIC verification, or SoC validation.
- Proven experience bringing up and debugging complex SoC designs on FPGA platforms.
- Excellent debugging capability and disciplined root-cause analysis.
