Executive Assistant to the Managing Director (Office of the MD) · Mumbai · Reports to the Managing Director The mandate
Our client is a large, listed Indian building materials company with a multi-decade brand, a national dealer and retail footprint, and manufacturing in Gujarat. The Managing Director runs a wide agenda across sales, manufacturing, brand, current formats and the board, and decisions taken in the room need to become actions outside it. Run the MD's calendar, travel and priorities, protecting time for the work that matters most.
Build and maintain the weekly and monthly review packs and MIS dashboards the MD uses to run the business, pulling data from functional heads and checking it before it reaches the MD.
Work with the Company Secretary and CFO to prepare board and committee packs, AGM material and analyst or investor call notes on time.

Personal office
~ Manage the MD's personal and family-office matters — personal travel, household coordination, confidential correspondence — with complete discretion.





Review packs and MIS delivered on a fixed cadence without the MD having to ask.
8–12 years' experience, of which at least 4 years supporting a promoter, MD or CXO directly.

- Has prepared or co-ordinated board or committee papers for a listed or large private company.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint: can build a review deck and an MIS dashboard from raw data without help.
- MBA, CS or CA (Inter or above) preferred.
- Based in Mumbai and able to travel with the MD to plants, sites and trade fairs.

Exposure to manufacturing, building materials, real estate or consumer durables.
Gujarati or Marathi.
Personally does the work — writes the notes, builds the deck, makes the follow-up call — rather than routing it to others.
Reports to the Managing Director. Works closely with the CFO, Company Secretary, functional heads in sales, manufacturing and brand, and the MD's family office.
Compensation
Commensurate with experience.
