Paperchase Accountancy is a financial operations partner specialising in providing accounting, financial management, and analytical support to hospitality businesses across the globe. With extensive experience in the hospitality sector, we help businesses make informed financial decisions through reliable accounting and industry expertise.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant – US Accounts with 1–4 years of experience in US accounting practices. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of US GAAP, US accounting principles, SAP, account finalisation, and Accounts Payable processes.
Handle day-to-day accounting activities in accordance with US GAAP and accounting standards.
Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) operations, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, payment processing, and query resolution.
Perform general ledger (GL) accounting and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities and account finalisations.
Prepare and review account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals,



and prepaid expenses.
Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records and supporting documentation.
Work on SAP for accounting transactions, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting schedules.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and reporting deadlines.
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com / equivalent).

- 1–4 years of experience in US Accounting or US Finance & Accounting processes.
- Valuable understanding of US GAAP and US accounting practices .
- Practical knowledge of SAP and accounting systems.
- Hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliations and vendor reconciliations .
- Understanding of month-end closing and account finalisation processes.
- Knowledge of General Ledger, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Candidates with prior experience in a KPO/BPO or accounting outsourcing environment will be preferred.

Exposure to US clients and international accounting processes will be an added advantage.
