Cyient, Inc. is seeking a skilled Piping Stress Engineer to join our team. This role involves performing stress analysis and design of GRE piping for various industrial projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Perform detailed static and energetic stress analysis for piping systems using industry-standard software (e.g., CAESAR II).
* Design and optimize piping supports, anchors, and restraints, considering thermal expansion, weight, pressure, and external loads.
* Develop piping stress analysis reports, including stress isometric drawings, support load lists, and spring hanger data sheets.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams (e.g., process, mechanical, civil, structural) to ensure design integration and resolve interface issues.
* Interpret and apply relevant international and local codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, AWWA C950) applicable to piping.
* Participate in design reviews, hazard and operability studies (HAZOP), and safety integrity level (SIL) assessments.
* Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning phases.
* Review vendor drawings and technical specifications for pipe and fittings.
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of best practices and procedures.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in piping stress analysis,



with significant experience specifically in GRE piping systems.
* Proficiency in piping stress analysis software, particularly CAESAR II.
* Strong understanding of GRE pipe material properties, manufacturing processes, and installation techniques.
* In-depth knowledge of international piping codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31 series).
* Experience with pipe support selection and design.
* Familiarity with 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Plant 3D, SmartPlant 3D) is a plus.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is desirable.

Perform engineering duties such as the planning of Thermodynamics, Aero Thermal analysis, Heat Transfer, Fluid Dynamics, Aero Mechanics, and Acoustics. Designs, develops, and tests a variety of power plants, aircrafts and parts. Establishes specifications, performs analysis, and conducts performance tests. Predicts new and derivative noise levels and designs elements of vehicles and systems to ensure compliance with noise regulations, specifications and guarantee requirements. Includes aerodynamics, stability and control, flutter and vibration, landing loads, aircraft or system structures, hydrodynamics, propulsion system, fuels and combustion, aero-acoustics, aero-mechanics, heat transfer and instrumentation
