Job Description Expeditor

Job Purpose

To ensure the timely delivery of materials and project requirements by coordinating with suppliers, internal departments, and logistics teams, while maintaining customer satisfaction and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

* Expediting & Coordination

* Monitor suppliers to ensure adherence to production schedules and timely delivery.

* Coordinate with Sales and Sales Expeditors to resolve delivery-related issues.

* Follow up with suppliers for timely submission of technical documents and reports.

* Coordinate with Quality Control, Logistics, Finance, and Procurement departments for smooth project execution.

* Ensure timely payment follow-ups with Finance for supplier payments.

Purchase Order (PO) Management

* Track PO milestones and ensure completion of:

* Pre-production documentation

* Payment term establishment

* Raw material sourcing plans

* Production schedules

* Inspection and test plans

* Shipment and final documentation

* Review POs and identify critical milestones and delivery objectives.





* Handle PO amendments and coordinate corrective actions in case of delays or project slippages.

Logistics & Shipping Coordination

* Coordinate with shipping teams for timely dispatch of materials as per agreed INCOTERMS.

* Prepare and organize shipping documentation.

* Ensure receipt and verification of supplier documents.

* Coordinate with warehouse and QC teams for material receipt and inspection activities.

Reporting & Documentation

* Prepare weekly progress and status reports for Project Managers.

* Maintain accurate procurement and expediting records.

* Ensure timely closure of NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and discrepancy reports.

Required Skills

* Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and shipping documentation

* Excellent communication skills in English

* Effective planning and organizational skills

* Robust coordination and follow-up abilities
