Testing & Commissioning: Execute testing, pre-commissioning, functional verification, energization, and handover of LV/MV Switchgear, protection relays, control circuits, metering, and interlocks.
Documentation & Review: Review technical drawings, schematics, test procedures, and commissioning documentation. Prepare accurate test reports, punch lists, and handover records.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose technical issues on-site and implement swift, corrective solutions.
Safety & Quality: Strictly adhere to safety standards, LMRA, PTW protocols, and quality standards.
Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with clients, site teams, and project managers throughout project execution.
Preferred candidate profile
Education: Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in LV & MV switchgear testing and commissioning.
Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of protection relays, secondary injection testing, and standard commissioning procedures.
Communication: Excellent verbal/written communication and report-writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Kahramaa (KM) Approved SWGR Testing & Commissioning Engineer status.
Proven experience with Siemens switchgear and protection systems.
Hands-on experience within KM Distribution Substations and live network project
