Job Summary:

We are hiring an Accountant / Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance for a manufacturing unit. The role involves handling GST, TDS, financial reporting, cost accounting, and audit support while ensuring compliance with Indian laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting & Reporting:

- Maintain books of accounts as per Companies Act and accounting standards
- Handle journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage fixed assets, depreciation, capitalization, and CWIP

GST Compliance:

- Handle GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation and annual returns
- Ensure correct HSN/SAC classification and ITC reconciliation
- Manage GST for job work, exports, and inter/intra-state transactions
- Respond to GST notices, audits, and assessments

TDS / TCS Compliance:

- Deduct and deposit TDS as per applicable sections
- File TDS returns (24Q, 26Q) and issue Form 16 / 16A
- Handle TCS compliance and reconciliation with 26AS / AIS





Direct Taxation:

- Support income tax computation and return filing
- Assist in advance tax calculations and assessments
- Coordinate with tax and statutory auditors

Cost & Manufacturing Accounting:

- Maintain cost records for RM, WIP, FG, and inventory valuation
- Support BOM costing, variance analysis, and cost sheets
- Track production overheads and cost control

Compliance & Audit:

- Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, PF, ESI
- Support statutory, internal, and cost audits
- Maintain compliance calendar and documentation

Banking & ERP:

- Handle bank reconciliations, cash flow, and payments
- Manage LC/BG accounting and milestone-based receipts
- Work on ERP systems (SAP / Tally / Oracle)

Qualifications:

- B.Com / M.Com (Mandatory)
- CA / CMA / Inter (Preferred)
- GST / Tax certification (Advantage)
