Job Profile: Project Manager Expansion Project (Thermoset Moulding Plant)

Profile Overview:

The Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and full-fledged Operation of the Ahmednagar expansion project, ensuring timely completion, cost control, statutory compliance, quality adherence, and risk mitigation, in line with approved capex, timelines, and strategic objectives.

This role is for the company - Thriarr Polymers Pvt Ltd. (Part of Hitech Group)

Key Responsibilities:

A. Project Planning & Governance

- Develop and own the detailed project execution plan, master schedule, and milestone chart.
- Break down the project into clear work packages, Internal Customised Civil Work, machinery, utilities, etc Installation, Commissioning and Operational, IT, statutory approvals).
- Establish project governance framework, reporting cadence, and escalation matrix.

B. Cost & Budget Control

- Estimate the Project Cost and timelines.
- Track and control approved project capex against budgets.
- Certify contractor bills, manage variations, and prevent scope creep.
- Maintain a cost-to-complete forecast and highlight risks early.

C. Contractor & Vendor Management

- Coordinate with architects, civil contractors, Mechanical Electrical Plumbing etc. contractors, machinery suppliers, and consultants.
- Ensure contracts are executed as per agreed scope, timelines, and specifications.
- Resolve on-site execution issues and inter-vendor dependencies.

D. Statutory & Compliance Oversight

- Coordinate for all statutory approvals (MIDC, pollution control, fire NOC,



electrical inspectorate, factory license, MSEB etc.).
- Ensure adherence to safety, labour laws, and environmental norms at site.

E. Quality, Safety & Risk Management

- Implement quality assurance plans and safety protocols at site.
- Identify project risks (time, cost, compliance, execution) and implement mitigation plans.
- Ensure zero major safety incidents.

F. Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

- Provide weekly progress reports and monthly management dashboards covering cost, schedule, risks, and actions.
- Act as single-point coordination between management, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

G. Project Closure & Handover

- Ensure timely commissioning and handover of the Manufacturing setup/facility in operation condition.
- Coordinate snag-list closure, as-built drawings, warranties, and documentation.
- Support initial stabilization of operations post-handover.

Candidate Profile

Education:

- BE / BTech (Industrial / Mechanical / Electrical) or equivalent

Experience:

- 12-20 years of experience in industrial / manufacturing / infrastructure project management
- Proven experience in greenfield / brownfield manufacturing facility expansion
- Strong exposure to civil + MEP + utilities + machinery installation projects

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong project planning, coordination, and execution skills.
- Excellent commercial and contractual understanding.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and vendors.
- Solid reporting, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Hands-on, site-oriented execution mindset.
