Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Fixture Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting production fixtures, jigs, and assembly tools to ensure smooth production operations and minimize machine downtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production fixtures and jigs.
- Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical fixtures used in manufacturing and assembly operations.
- Identify and troubleshoot fixture-related problems during production.
- Perform fixture setting, alignment, fitting, and adjustments.
- Read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
- Carry out drilling, grinding, filing, and basic fitting operations.
- Maintain pneumatic and hydraulic fixtures, where applicable.
- Ensure fixtures are in good working condition and meet production quality requirements.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve fixture-related issues.




- Maintain maintenance records and follow workplace safety procedures.
- Support continuous improvement activities to improve fixture performance and productivity.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of mechanical fitting and tools.
- Understanding of jigs, fixtures, and assembly tools.
- Knowledge of mechanical drawings and measurements.
- Familiarity with Vernier Caliper and Micrometer.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment.

Eligibility Criteria

- Qualification: ITI Fitter or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Freshers can apply; experienced candidates will also be considered.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and a willingness to learn are essential.
