Role & Responsibilities Science Teacher (Grades 6 to 10)
- Teach Science subjects according to the prescribed curriculum and syllabus.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching materials.
- Conduct practical experiments and laboratory activities safely.
- Prepare question papers, answer keys, and conduct assessments.
- Evaluate answer sheets, maintain student records, and update marks.
- Monitor students academic progress and provide remedial support.
- Prepare students for examinations through revision and practice.
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage scientific thinking.
- Coordinate with colleagues and school management for academic activities.
- Complete syllabus, assessments, and assigned duties within deadlines.
Preferred Candidate Profile Science Teacher (Grades 6 to 10)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science with B.Ed. preferred.
- Robust subject knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Relevant teaching experience in Grades 7 to 10 preferred.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to explain scientific concepts through practical examples and experiments.
- Proficiency in lesson planning, assessment, and student evaluation.
- Ability to prepare students for school examinations.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and academic documentation.
- Strong organisational skills, teamwork, and a student-centred approach.
