Group Accountant - Financial & Management Accounting | Brisbane CBD | $120K + Super

Newly created role, with interviews starting now. Start pre or post Christmas.
A well-established, reliable and growing business is adding a Group Accountant to work directly under the Group Finance Manager.
You'll own financial and management accounting, and spend real time with the leadership team and stakeholders rather than being back office. This role would be well suited to someone with proven experience of driving change, improving processes and working from their own initiative. You won't just be 'doing' you'll be looking for ways to add value and insights beyond producing the numbers.
The role

- Own financial and management accounting activities across the group
- Act as 2IC to the Group FC and cover when they're away




- Get involved in projects and process improvements, with a say in how the finance function evolves
- Work closely with senior leadership as the business expands
You'll suit this if you

- Are a qualified accountant with commercial experience and proven experience of improving processes and adding value
- Like understanding the business behind the numbers
