Job Description: We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong Guidewire Policy Center rating experience to join our team. You will act as the bridge between underwriting, actuarial, product, and technology teams, translating rating rules, rate manuals, and filing requirements into clear specifications that developers can build and testers can validate. You will own rating requirements end to end, from discovery through UAT and production rate changes.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document rating requirements for [Personal & Commercial LOB] in Guidewire Policy Center

Translate rate manuals, filings, and actuarial rate indications into functional specifications

Define and maintain rating worksheets, rating routines, and rate book structures in collaboration with developers and actuarial teams





Write user stories with transparent acceptance criteria and maintain the backlog in [Jira ]

Support SIT, UAT, and regression testing

Reconcile Guidewire rating output against legacy system or Excel-based rating to validate premium accuracy

Analyze and resolve rating defects, identifying root cause across configuration, data, or code

Facilitate workshops with underwriters, actuaries, and SMEs, and communicate status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders
