Job Title: Associate/Senior Associate/Project Leader - Payer Research

Job Location: -Gurgaon/Noida/Bangalore/Pune/Hyderabad

Job Summary: - This role will be responsible for independently running end-to-end payer research projects for pharma clients. An expert in Payer Research who can guide external research agencies, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and deliver high-quality insights from scoping to final readout

Job Responsibilities: -

- Own and run payer research projects end to end, from defining the business question and research design through execution, insight synthesis, and delivery
- Guide and manage research agencies on methodology, questionnaires and discussion guides, respondent selection, fieldwork quality, and timelines
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (brand, market access, commercial, and analytics teams) to align on objectives, gather inputs, and share findings
- Translate primary and secondary research into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
- Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and vendor performance independently
- Contribute towards Axtria tools and capabilities as per the business requirements
- Support other research and analytics workstreams as business needs evolve

Job Requirements: -

- Overall, 2 to 5+ years of rich experience in market research, preferably in the Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences / Healthcare domain
- We are looking for experts in the space of payer research, with proven experience driving such projects independently
- Hands-on experience in payer research such as market access, pricing and reimbursement, formulary decision-making, and payer segmentation and perception studies
- Strong understanding of market research methodologies, both qualitative (IDIs, advisory boards)



and quantitative (surveys, conjoint, etc.)
- Experience in managing and directing external research agencies
- Strong in structured thinking, asking the right questions, and a logical approach to analyze problems and situations
- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to work across functions and geographies
- Strong communication, project management, and storyboarding skills

Qualification: -

- BE/ B. Tech/ B. Pharma/ M. Pharma/ M. Tech/ MBA

Must have Skills: -

- Expertise in payer research and end-to-end ownership of market research projects, including agency management
- Hands-on in SQL, MS Excel and PPT. Python knowledge a plus

Skills that give you an edge: -

- Exposure to adjacent areas such as HCP/ patient research, forecasting, or commercial analytics, enabling versatile deployment across projects
- Familiarity with the US payer landscape and experience in specific therapy areas

Must have Skills: -

- Expertise in pharma real-world data like APLD, EMR, Prescription data, formulary data, etc

Skills that give you an edge: -

- Good to have work experience in building statistical modeling and/or AI/ML models using Python, R-Studio, PySpark, Keras, and TensorFlow
