Quality Control Manager

Role Summary

We are seeking a technically strong and system-driven Quality Control Manager who can lead inspections, ensure quality compliance, handle defect analysis, resolve problems, and drive continuous improvements. Fastener industry experience and hands-on operation of QC equipment is required.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure product quality meets drawing requirements, standards, and customer specifications.
- Lead incoming, checklists, in-process, and final inspections for all fastener products.
- Conduct defect analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), and drive corrective actions (CAPA).
- Maintain quality documentation, reports, calibration records and QA data.
- Operate and supervise use of Profile Projector, Hardness Testing Machine, Metallurgy Setup, and Calibration Tools.
- Improve quality processes, strengthen SOPs, and ensure systematic quality checks.
- Coordinate with production and customer teams for issue resolution.
- Lead internal audits and support external/customer audits.
- Ensure all measuring instruments are calibrated and functioning accurately
- Continuously improve Products and Processes

What we are looking for?

Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of fastener quality assurance processes
- Hands-on experience with QA equipment such as Profile Projector, Hardness Tester, Metallurgy testing, and gauges
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Knowledge of inspection methods, defect analysis, and quality documentation
- Understanding of calibration systems and quality compliance requirements

Soft Skills





- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to enforce discipline and ensure system and SOP compliance
- Clear communication and coordination with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and quality-focused mindset
- Leadership ability to guide inspectors and shop-floor teams

Experience

- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Quality Control within fastener manufacturing

Education

- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field

Reporting Structure

You shall report to the Senior Management / Director. lead the quality inspection and assurance function, coordinating closely with Production, Operations, and Customer teams.
