: Social Media Manager (Intern)

Role DescriptionWe’re looking for a Social Media Manager intern to grow GoBefikra’s community of travellers and adventure operators. You’ll plan and publish content on Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and X that makes people want to book their next trip.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and run monthly content calendars for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn and X
- Create and publish reels, carousels and stories: trek highlights, destination guides, packing tips, safety tips, and “find your tribe” community content
- Promote the trips and events listed on the platform, plus seasonal and weekend-getaway campaigns
- Share content from travellers and operators, such as trip photos, reviews and testimonials
- Feature verified operators, and support LinkedIn posts that attract new vendors to the platform
- Show off platform features like Ask Befi, trip comparison, safety and insurance
- Reply to comments and messages, and build an active traveller community
- Track trends, trending audio,



hashtags and competing travel brands
- Monitor Instagram Insights, YouTube Analytics and Google Analytics, and share weekly and monthly reports
- Work with design, video and product teams to keep content on-brand

Qualifications
- Skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)
- Robust writing in English (Hindi is a plus), in a fun, youthful, adventurous voice
- Able to plan a content calendar and adapt one message for each platform
- Hands-on with Canva and basic reel editing in CapCut or a similar tool
- Familiar with Instagram Insights, Meta Business Suite and basic Google Analytics
- Organized, and able to manage many tasks remotely
- A degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media or a related field is a plus, not required

Good to Have
- A real love for travel, trekking or the outdoors
- A travel or lifestyle page you’ve grown yourself
- Experience with influencer or creator collaborations
- Comfortable using AI tools for ideas and caption drafts
