Role Descriptions: Important to highlight This is primarily a TransformationMigration effort| and there will be no new COBOL development or coding involved.We are looking for COBOL expertise to help the team understand and analyze the existing COBOL-based application| including its data structures| business rules| functional flows| and integrations. This knowledge will be critical in refining and validating requirements for the target Java-based transformed solution and ensuring functional parity during modernization.Key RequirementsSenior COBOL professional with 610 years (desirable) of relevant experience (we can deviate on this years of exp.)Strong expertise in COBOL and legacy application analysisSolid experience with application development projectsStrongly preferred HPE NonStop platform experienceHands-on experience with COBOL85| SCOBOL| SQLMP| SQLMX| TACL| and OSSExperience with database connectivity middlewarePreferred experience in legacy transformation| API enablement| and integration planningAbility to work closely with Architecture and Engineering teams to analyze the current state and support modernization initiativesStrong ability to understand and articulate existing business functionality and data flows to enable accurate requirements for the target Java solution
