We at Coforge are seeking a “Senior Business Analyst" with robust expertise in Government and BFSI domains to lead business analysis, stakeholder engagement, requirements management, and solution definition for large-scale digital transformation initiatives. The role requires close engagement with Government Departments, Regulatory Bodies, Banks, Financial Institutions, and Delivery Teams to ensure successful project execution in Fixed Price and Managed Services environments.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead requirement gathering workshops and business discussions with Government Departments, Ministries, PSUs, Regulatory Bodies, Banks, Financial Institutions, and other key stakeholders.
- Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business, functional, non-functional, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), User Stories, Use Cases, Process Flows, BPMN Diagrams, Wireframes, and Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM).
- Analyze and document AS-IS and TO-BE business processes and recommend process optimisation and transformation opportunities.
- Conduct gap analysis and define target-state solutions aligned with business objectives and project outcomes.
- Drive requirement reviews, walkthroughs, stakeholder approvals, sign-offs, and acceptance management activities.
- Work closely with Central Government, State Government, PSUs, Smart Governance initiatives, Digital India Programs, Citizen Service Platforms, and Mission Mode Projects.




- Understand and support Government procurement processes, RFP responses, bid management, contractual obligations, compliance requirements, and audit expectations.
- Participate in pre-sales, proposal preparation, solutioning workshops, and tender response activities for Government opportunities.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements across BFSI domains including Core Banking, Digital Banking, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Loans & Advances, Treasury, Regulatory Reporting, AML/KYC, Risk & Compliance, Payment Systems, Trade Finance, Customer Onboarding, and Financial Inclusion Programs.
- Ensure solution and requirement alignment with RBI, NPCI, UIDAI, SEBI, IRDAI, and other applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with business users, operations teams, compliance teams, architects, development teams, testing teams, and program stakeholders.
- Participate in project scoping, estimation, feasibility assessment, and solution planning activities.
- Ensure requirement completeness, clarity, and traceability to support successful Fixed Price Project (FPP) and Managed Services delivery.
- Manage scope changes, requirement enhancements, change requests, and impact assessments on cost, schedule, effort, and project outcomes.
- Support project managers in project planning, effort estimation, dependency management, milestone tracking,



risk identification, and mitigation planning.
- Drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business validation, and production readiness activities.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication across multiple departments, vendors, implementation partners, and delivery teams.
- Manage complex stakeholder ecosystems involving Government agencies, banking institutions, regulatory authorities, system integrators, and technology teams.
- Utilize tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, MS Visio, BPMN tools, and Microsoft Office Suite for requirements management, collaboration, and project execution.
- Leverage SQL and Power BI for business analysis, reporting, data validation, and decision support where required.
- Support large-scale Digital Transformation Programs, Fixed Price Projects (FPP), Managed Services engagements, and enterprise application modernization initiatives.
- Ensure successful delivery of business outcomes through structured requirement management, stakeholder alignment, governance compliance, and project execution excellence.
