Position: Research Scientist in Computer Science & Computational Physics

Type: Contract

Compensation: $100-$400/hour

Role Responsibilities

- Identify and propose open problems or tractable research challenges in your subfield.
- Run structured research with AI models and agents to attempt proofs, develop algorithms or run simulations.
- Verify outputs by checking proofs, reproducing numerical results or using formal tools.
- Document methods, partial results and challenges in transparent written reports.

Requirements

- Late-stage PhD candidate, postdoctoral researcher or early-career academic (0-5 years post-PhD) in computer science or mathematical/computational physics.
- Recognized by your peer community for research excellence, such as best paper or dissertation awards at leading venues.
- Strong publication record within the past three years, including multiple top-venue papers.
- Hands-on expertise in simulation, numerical analysis and algorithmic implementation.
