Role Description The Photographer at Tasvirwala will be responsible for planning, capturing, and delivering high-quality images and visual content for a variety of client projects, including events, weddings, commercial shoots, and brand campaigns. Day-to-day activities include coordinating with clients to understand project requirements, preparing and setting up equipment, shooting on location or in studios, and managing post-production tasks such as culling, basic editing, and file organization. The role involves collaborating with other visual creators and production teams on the platform, adhering to project timelines,



and maintaining a consistent visual style aligned with client expectations and Tasvirwala’s standards.

This is a full time, hybrid role based in Chandigarh, India, with a mix of on-site shoots and some work-from-home for planning, communication, and editing.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong technical photography skills, including proficiency with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and basic post-production tools.
- Candidates should possess creative and artistic abilities, such as composition, visual storytelling, attention to detail, and an eye for color and aesthetics.
- Candidates should possess workflow and project management skills, including time management, organization of files, adherence to deadlines, and ability to handle multiple assignments.
- Candidates should possess client-facing and communication skills, including clear spoken and written communication, professionalism on shoots, and the ability to understand and translate client needs into visual outcomes.
- Candidates should possess basic digital skills, such as familiarity with online platforms for portfolio management, file sharing, and collaboration with teams and clients.
- Relevant experience in event, wedding, commercial, or portrait photography is beneficial, along with a strong portfolio showcasing varied work.
- A diploma or degree in photography, visual arts, media, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory; practical experience and portfolio quality will be highly valued.
