Job title: Fresher Accountant – US Tax (B.Com Graduates)

Dattani & Partners, CPA is a Jersey City, NJ firm with 10+ years of experience. We provide bookkeeping, accounting, tax preparation and planning, IRS representation, payroll, company formation, virtual CFO, and advisory services to individuals and businesses across the US. Our clients span technology, retail, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, and professional services.

What you’ll do

- Maintain ledgers and books in QuickBooks or similar software
- Categorize transactions from bank, credit card, and invoice data
- Reconcile bank, AP, and AR accounts, and support month-end and year-end closing
- Help prepare financial statements
- Organize client tax documents (W-2, 1099, 1098, K-1)
- Learn to prepare Form 1040 returns in ProSeries/Drake under senior review
- Assist with deadlines, extensions, and estimated payments

What we're looking for

- BCom / MCom / CA Inter / CA Dropout / BBA / BMS or equivalent (final-year students with results due are welcome)




- 0–1 year of experience (internships and projects count)
- Accounting basics: journal entries, ledgers, trial balance
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Clear written and verbal English
- Willingness to work from the office and extend hours in peak tax season
- Plus: Tally/QuickBooks/Zoho Books, basic US tax knowledge, CPA/EA/CMA/CA interest

Permanent, full-time | In office | Mon–Fri for 7 months, Mon–Sat for 5 months (peak season)
