Installation : Installing new wiring, electrical panels, lighting fixtures, and circuit breakers.
- Maintenance & Repair : Identifying electrical malfunctions and repairing or replacing damaged parts in systems and machinery.
- Safety & Compliance : Inspecting systems to ensure compliance with national electrical codes and safety standards.
- Diagnostic Troubleshooting : Using testing devices like multimeters and voltmeters to locate problems.
- Planning : Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to plan wiring layouts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education : High school diploma or GED, plus completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or technical school degree.
- Licensing : State-required electrician license or certification.
- Technical Knowledge :
Solid understanding of electrical theory, safety protocols, and National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
- Physical Aptitude : Ability to work in confined spaces, stand for long periods, and lift
