Role Overview :

- The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for machine installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, service support, and sales support activities for digital finishing machines within the assigned territory.

- Key Responsibilities :

- Install, commission, and demonstrate digital finishing machines at customer locations.
- Provide preventive and breakdown maintenance support to customers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues .
- Attend customer service calls and ensure timely resolution of technical problems.
- Train customers and operators on machine operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
- Conduct machine inspections and recommend necessary service or replacement of components.
- Coordinate with the internal service,



sales, and technical teams for effective customer support.
- Provide technical support to the sales team during customer visits, product demonstrations, and machine evaluations.
- Support installation and commissioning of machines at recent customer sites.
- Maintain service reports, installation reports, and customer visit records.
- Travel extensively within the assigned territory as required.

- Requirements : Required Skills :

- Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems .
- Basic understanding of sensors, motors, drives, control panels, and automation systems .
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and electrical wiring diagrams.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for customer service and installation activities.
- Ability to work independently at customer locations.

Preferred Profile :

- 2-5 years of experience in field service, machine installation, commissioning, or maintenance .
- Experience with industrial machinery, printing/finishing equipment, automation machinery, or similar capital equipment will be an advantage.
