Role Description The QA Engineer will work on-site in the Greater Chennai Area in a full time capacity, ensuring the quality and reliability of Wondersoft’s retail and distribution solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, executing, and documenting test cases for new features and existing functionality, performing manual testing across different modules, and validating fixes for reported issues. The role involves collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and support teams to reproduce bugs, clarify requirements, and maintain high-quality software releases. The QA Engineer will also participate in regression testing,



contribute to test planning, and suggest improvements to testing processes and product usability. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Quality Assurance and Software Testing skills, with a focus on process-oriented testing and defect management.
• Candidates should possess skills in Test Execution and Test Cases, including designing, maintaining, and executing test suites for various product releases.
• Candidates should possess abilities in Manual Testing, with experience validating functional, integration, and regression scenarios in real-world environments.
• Candidates should possess an understanding of retail or distribution domain workflows, enabling effective validation of business requirements.
• Relevant skills such as basic SQL for data validation, familiarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA or similar), and exposure to version control systems are beneficial.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams are required.
