Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will lead the end-to-end design process for commercial projects, including concept development, space planning, and design detailing for offices and institutional environments. This full time, on-site role based in Kolkata involves creating and reviewing design presentations, construction drawings, and FF&E; specifications, while ensuring alignment with client requirements, brand standards, and project budgets. The individual will collaborate closely with architects, project managers, engineers, and vendors to coordinate design intent with execution, supervise design implementation on site, and address design-related issues during construction. Responsibilities include guiding junior designers,



maintaining design quality and consistency across projects, participating in client meetings, presenting design solutions, and integrating intelligent workspace systems and infrastructure elements. The Senior Interior Designer will also contribute to continuous improvement of design processes, incorporating technology, sustainability, and functionality into every project. Qualifications
• Demonstrated expertise in Interior Design and FF&E;, including concept development, material selection, and furniture, fixtures, and equipment coordination.
• Strong skills in Space Planning and Architecture, with the ability to design efficient, ergonomic, and adaptable commercial workspaces.
• Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Construction Drawings, detailed layouts, and technical design documentation for execution teams.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial interior design standards, building codes, and integration of services such as electrical, HVAC, and AV within interior layouts.
• High level of proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D visualization tools) and familiarity with digital design workflows.
• Proven experience managing medium to large-scale commercial interior projects, including coordination with contractors, vendors, and consultants.
• Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with the ability to explain design concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to mentor and lead junior designers, maintain design quality, and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
