Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging training sessions on Bioinformatics concepts and tools.
• Mentor students in computational biology, genomics, and biological data analysis.
• Provide hands-on training using industry-relevant tools and technologies.
• Guide learners through practical projects, assignments, and case studies.
• Help students develop industry-ready skills and prepare for career opportunities.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in Bioinformatics. Required Skills &
Qualifications:
• Master's or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Bioinformatics training, mentoring, research, or industry.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Biological databases (NCBI, UniProt, Ensembl)
• Sequence analysis (BLAST, FASTA)
• Genomics and Transcriptomics
• NGS data analysis
• Python / R for Bioinformatics
• Linux and command-line tools
• Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
• Passion for teaching and guiding students.
