Role Description The Faculty role is a full time, on-site position based in the Greater Kolkata Area. The faculty member will plan and deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions aligned with the institution’s curriculum and academic standards. Responsibilities include designing course materials, assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate academic records. The role involves mentoring and advising students, supporting their academic and professional growth, and participating in departmental meetings and institutional initiatives. Faculty are also expected to contribute to research, scholarly activities, and community outreach,



while upholding the institution’s values and commitment to quality education. Qualifications
• Relevant postgraduate degree (Master’s or higher) in the appropriate academic discipline from a recognized university; doctoral degree (PhD) preferred.
• Demonstrated teaching competence, including curriculum planning, classroom instruction, and student assessment at the undergraduate or postgraduate level.
• Strong communication, presentation, and academic writing skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and explain complex concepts clearly.
• Experience or interest in research, publications, and participation in academic conferences, seminars, or workshops.
• Ability to use educational technologies, learning management systems, and basic productivity tools to support teaching and student learning.
• Commitment to student-centered pedagogy, ethical conduct, and inclusive practices that respect individuals from varied backgrounds.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with colleagues, administration, and external stakeholders on academic and institutional projects.
• Prior teaching experience in a similar institutional setting in the Greater Kolkata Area or elsewhere is an advantage.
