Role Description The SAP Security Specialist is a full time remote role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure SAP environments across multiple systems and modules. Day-to-day tasks include managing user access and roles, configuring and monitoring SAP GRC Access Control, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements. The role involves analyzing business processes to design appropriate security roles, performing risk assessments, and resolving security-related incidents and audit findings. The specialist will collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, and audit teams to document security procedures,



support projects and system changes, and continuously improve SAP security controls and governance. Qualifications
• Strong SAP Security skills, including role design, user administration, and authorization concepts.
• Hands-on experience with SAP GRC Access Control for access risk analysis, provisioning, and compliance monitoring.
• Solid Information Security knowledge, including security standards, risk management, and control frameworks.
• Analytical skills to interpret business requirements, assess risks, and optimize security around key Business Processes.
• Relevant experience with SAP landscapes (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, or other modules) and integration points.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with audit practices, regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX), and documentation of security procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional certifications in SAP Security, GRC, or Information Security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, SAP-related certifications) are a plus.
