Product Solution Lead
- Cloud Services and Architecture Role Purpose Architects and runs the shared cloud services layer (CoreCompute) — compute, storage/backup, landing zones, containers, GPU and DR — built once and consumed by every proposition.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and operate cloud landing zones and shared platform services consumed estate-wide — run once, priced inside the consuming propositions.
• Run container platforms (AKS-class) and platform-engineering golden paths — templates, GitOps pipelines and self-service provisioning for delivery teams.
• Own storage, backup and DR patterns as shared services — tiering, immutability basics and RPO/RTO-engineered recovery.
• Stand up and govern GPU/AI infrastructure for agentic and data workloads — provisioning, scheduling/quota and cost controls.
• Enforce architecture standards and guardrails — policy-as-code, Well-Architected reviews, security baselines — across customer environments.
• Partner with the Hybrid Cloud lead on workload placement, migration waves and cost engineering. Hard Skills




• Cloud platform architecture — Azure enterprise-scale landing zones and Cloud Adoption Framework at AZ-305-calibre depth; working AWS/GCP fluency for multi-cloud estates.
• Containers & platform engineering — AKS/Kubernetes operations (CKA-calibre), GitOps (Argo CD/Flux), golden-path templates and internal developer platform patterns.
• IaC & policy-as-code — Terraform/Bicep, Azure Policy guardrails, CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and drift control.
• Storage & data protection — Azure storage tiering, backup services (Azure Backup/Commvault-class), WORM/immutability basics and lifecycle policies.
• Resiliency & DR engineering — multi-region/availability-zone design, Azure Site Recovery-class orchestration, RPO/RTO engineering and failover testing.
• GPU & AI infrastructure — GPU compute provisioning (NC/ND-class SKUs), scheduling and quota management, cost governance for AI/agentic workloads.
• FinOps & cost engineering — tagging taxonomy, reservations/savings plans, rightsizing automation, Azure Cost Management + Billing.
• Security baselines — landing-zone security (Microsoft Defender for Cloud), CIS benchmarks, identity and network segmentation fundamentals.
