Experience:
2–5 Years (Preferred) Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Fitter to handle the fitting, installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery and equipment used in our manufacturing unit. The candidate should have basic technical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to perform maintenance work efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform fitting, installation, and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Identify mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs.
- Assist in preventive maintenance to ensure smooth machine operations.
- Check machine parts, bearings, belts, shafts, and other mechanical components.
- Carry out dismantling, assembling, and replacement of machine parts as required.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize machine breakdowns.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Follow safety procedures while performing repair and maintenance work.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the maintenance area.
- Report major mechanical issues to the Maintenance Supervisor. Required Skills
- Knowledge of mechanical fitting and maintenance.
- Basic understanding of industrial machinery and tools.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use fitting tools and measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of machine assembly and disassembly.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety.
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions. Educational Qualification ITI in Fitter Trade or relevant technical qualification preferred. Experience 2–5 years of experience in industrial fitting, machine maintenance, or a manufacturing unit is preferred.
